Engineering is an honored profession. Many studies have indicated that the general public has great respect for the engineering profession and the ethics that engineers exhibit specially in the US. We must ensure that our profession resurges and will remain in high esteem and make certain that those who aspire to reduce our position in society are not successful. We must make sure that we have the best business climate in Colombia if we are going to have a higher standard of living for ourselves and future generations.
CAPE cares about actual and future of engineers for this, international agreements of Colombia are their interest, at this respect a set of documents stating our position and recommendations had been addressed to the Colombian Ministry of Industry and Tourism, head of the Colombian voice at the current ANDEAN -US FTA, those documents aims to achieve reciprocity based on recommended changes to the Colombian engineering regulations and acknowledgment policies between our countries.
